Ophthalmologist

Duties and Responsibilities: An ophthalmologist is a doctor that treats illnesses, diseases and different conditions in the eye. They do eye surgery on patients to help treat or get rid of any disease they may have. Another thing they do is examine other’s eye to be able to prescribe them any lenses or pair of glasses. They are to care for any patient that is having issues with their eyesight and to prescribe them any health care.

Education: An ophthalmologist is required to have a medical degree. They are to earn a four year bachelor’s degree and go to four years of medical school and a three to four year internships. Another thing that is required is getting licensed to be able to go into more practicing programs. There skills that are also required is to have strong physics and math.

Demand in profession. The outlook of this job is at about 14% in all surgeon. They are to have a good job opening for them till 2024
