These 10 commandments are very important because they know what is to be expected from them and the kind of person they are. These 10 commandments is what keeps the native americans together and united as one. We could learn from these and be better people that are always peaceful and do what is right. For example, in commandment 4 “do what you know is right”, this commandment is concise and explains how people should know to do what is right and know when it is the right moment to do it. Another example , in commandment 3 “show great respect to your fellow beings”, this one explains how it is important to be respectful to one another. Don’t being mistreating anyone because it is not the right thing to do. Also, in commandment 9 “ be truthful and honest at all times” this is important because honestly is one of the most important things. It is never good to lie and even for the little things because nothing good will come out of it. These commandments inspire me because I would want to become a become a better person.
