Nursing Home Administrator

Duties and Responsibilities:  A nursing home administrator is to supervise clinical nursing homes to see how the people work and how the patients are. They supervise how they and oversee how the staff do their procedures and check that they use they right supplies and provide the correct care work.

Salary: $94,500

Education: The educational requirements to become a nursing home administrator is to have a four-year bachelor’s degree. It is also required to be licensed even if a higher position is wanted. To have a higher position it is required to have a master’s degree and to work in in organization another two-years of master’s is required.

Demand in profession: It is projected that this job will increase by another 17% by 2024. The job outlook in this career is very high since overall there are a large number of people in this career.


Reflection: I would not be interested in this career because it seems very simple and easy. Although it would be nice to be able to see how others are being treated, but it seems like something that is not challenging.
