Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibility of a yoga therapist is to be sure that there clients are safe, healthy and flexible at all times. They help them relax and meditate which is able to have help them relieve stress. They help their clients do poses that are best for them that won’t injure them and instead be better at what they do. They are to pay close attention at what they do that way they could find other ways they could instruct them better to see if they need to change any of the exercises they do.

Salary: The annual salary for the yoga therapist is $40,970.

Education: The education required to become a yoga therapist is to go to training. Most yoga therapist don’t need an education all they need is a high school diploma. What is required is a 200 hour certification that shows that you know what a yoga therapist is suppose to do. To become a professional it is required to do 500 hours and it allows the instructor to have private practices.

Demand in this profession: The yoga therapist is projected to grow approximately 8% which is growing at an average speed. It is projected to grow this much from the year 2014 to 2024.


Reflection: I would not be interested in this career because it sounds boring. It also seems like a very simple job that anybody can do and they don’t even make a lot of money.
