Health Educator

Duties and Responsibilities: Health educators teach other people about behaviors and promote other wellness.  They teach people about how to live a healthy life and help the people in the community. The go over community health and they make sure that people are able to reach out to their services. They do studies and go over the evaluation of the diagnosis and their quality of services. They provide guidance to those how they teach and prepare them for assessments. They provide surveys that way they know what to do better. They help others be educated in health that way their services can be avaliable to others.

Salary: $51,719- $66,516

Education: To become a health educator they at least need a bachelor’s degree. Some may need the certified health educator specialist. These show that many are going for a higher education. For a community health specialist they are required to have a high school diploma and also do some job training. Some states offer programs for certification for the community health educators.

Demand in profession: The outlook of health educators is projected to grow 13% in the next few years. This job is growing faster than average. It needs to grow because there is need of more of health incomes.


Reflection: I believe that i would be interested in this job because i like health and i would like to teach others about it. It’s important for people to know more about health that way they could offer their services.
