Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of a journalist is to be able to to gather  a lot of information and have enough knowledge about the subject they interview about. They are to also find any other information that could help them back up their story and give more detail and facts about it. Another thing they have to do is be able to work with other people, they need to know know how to collaborate and communicate with other people. They should know how to respect other’s privacy and and their decisions. It is important that they know not to force people to do things only for their benefit.

Salary:  Starting average is $35,328 and yearly is $44,030

Education: In order to become a journalist it is required to have a bachelor’s degree or have some type of education in english or communication. It is important that you take programs that will help you gain more experience of subjects that will give you more knowledge. To be more advanced you could become a reporter and be part of a larger market.

Demand in This Profession: In the career of the journalist is is projected to decline 9% from 2014-1024. Since many things are becoming more digital it is becoming more difficult for them.
Reflection: I would be interested in this career because because it seems exciting to be able to get more knowledge from new things and learn new facts.
